Fulfillment by Amazon
Fulfillment by Amazon means your inventory is fulfilled by Amazon. However, you are required to send all of your products, literature, etc. to Amazon already prepared for shipping. That’s where FFI comes in. We package your items to Amazon’s specs, print and apply labels and bar codes, and ship them to an Amazon facility.
Amazon Fulfillment Done Right
If you don’t know how to prepare shipments for Amazon leave it to the experts at FFI. We handle the Amazon process from receiving, inspection, prepping, packaging, labeling, and delivery to Amazon. Once we receive your products we’ll inspect for visible damage and verify quantities then we’ll make certain everything is ship-shape for Amazon.
Why You Need FFI for Fulfillment by Amazon Support
FBA isn’t a flexible service.
Amazon requires your products to be ready to be fulfilled upon arrival at their fulfillment centers. If not, unplanned prep may delay Amazon to complete the receipt of your shipments by up to 48 hours.
Noncompliance can be costly.
Not properly preparing your inventory before sending it to Amazon can also run the risk of being charged for noncompliance or even worse, refusal of inventory.
Ship to Amazon Warehouses.
We divide your products to ship out to different Amazon fulfillment centers, using either small parcel or LTL service. Trackability is accessible through the Amazon seller central portal.
FFI has you covered:
- Case and Pallet Labeling
- Generate Amazon ID Labels
- SKU labeling
- ASIN: Each unit must have a scanable barcode (ISBN, UPC, EAN, or JAN)
- Multipack packaging “sold as set”
- Fragile item preparation
- Polybagging
- Secondary packaging
- Bundling
- Compliant Markings: anti-suffocation warning, sold as set, choking hazard, expiration date etc.
Fulfillment by Amazon.
FFI’s FBA preparation supports you if you are a multichannel customer and Amazon is one of your sales channels, or if you are exclusively an Amazon seller and don’t sell through other channels.
Avoid hidden charges.
When you use Fulfillment by Amazon you can be subject to extra charges related to product storage. These include penalties for long-term storage, stock removal fees, and seasonal storage increases which occur around the holidays. This is why sellers often store the bulk of their inventory at FFI then ship just enough stock to cover a range of forecasted sales.
